When four fifth graders are given the opportunity to make a film, the results are interesting, frustrating, and hilarious. A fun exploration of the psychology of fifth grade boys, and a self reflexive look into the filmmaking process.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Kyle Kelley is a Cinema & Photography student at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He got his start in video production at South Burlington High School in South Burlington, VT, and has been immersed in it ever since. In addition to the films he makes in school, Kyle regularly enters contests online. He was on the second place team in the 2005 eSchoolNews/Discovery Student Video Discovery awards, he was on the 15th place team in the 2007 Apple Insomnia film contest, he won an honorable mention in the 2008 48-Hour Ivy Film Festival, and he won the 2008 Around June: Cut Your Own Trailer Contest.Kyle also works as a videographer and photographer for an on-campus online magazine, and works on the staff of Park Productions, the school’s in-house professional production company. Kyle is currently working on various small projects and is in the process of co-writing a film for his thesis production class, which will take place next spring.
