Well hello again.  As I have been working this summer in the brushed-steel political hub of K St, Washington, my interest has turned to the dialogue, both literal and metaphorical, that often occurs between politics and entertainment.  A potentially lengthier exploration of the themes mentioned in my recent article could be forthcoming.  So, with many thanks to the inspiration provided by "Wilshire and Washington" over at Variety, I will be posting some entries in my blog on the most intriguing ways in which developments on the political scene and the silver screen combine in the world today.  Stay tuned.
