We are at the beginning of pledge term for the 12s. Awesome. Becoming part of a house strips pledges of their individuality and immerses them in the house's cultural milieu. Kind of... Brotherhoods and sisterhoods are social groups, and the members of a social group tend to have shared proclivities. Rotterdam-based photographer Ari Versluis and profiler Ellie Uyttenbroek noticed that the members of a social group tend to dress alike, and consequently the team has photographed thousands of people over the past 14 years. On their site, Exactitudes, you can find these photographs organized by social grouping. Finding which ones match up to the frats on campus is my favorite game, but there are other great ways to play with it too. Enjoy.
