Equal parts minty refreshing and summer sexy, the mojito is a go-to drink that never fails to impress. We'll tell you how to get the perfect combination of sweet and sour in plenty of time for some extracurricular activity. Stir up a couple of these, hit the dance floor, and repeat.

If we started this blog by talking about any other drink, we'd be fired. Having dampened the palettes and lowered the faculties of everyone from Winston Churchill to James Bond, the martini is the classic of classics. Here, we settle some common debates for good and tell you all you need to know for your next big soiree.

Bessie: Winston, you are drunk, and what's more, you are disgustingly drunk.

Winston: Bessie, my dear, you are ugly, and what's more, you are disgustingly ugly. But tomorrow I shall be sober and you will still be disgustingly ugly.

I don't care how liberated this world becomes - a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume - and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.

Sometimes, we party.

These are the musings of drink-making enthusiasts as we wander around the world of alcohol. We're here so you can drink your favorite sauce with style, and have fun doing it.

Diabolo

2 oz Cruzan Estate Light Rum (or substitute)
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz Cointreau or triple sec
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice in a shaker, strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.

This is a tasty little number that I tried for the first time this weekend. You definitely know you're drinking a very strong drink, but at the same time it's quite tasty. Enjoy it nice and chilled.
