This first film, Up There, comes to us from NYC and examines the lives of the artists who paint the city's skyline. Director Malcolm Murray illustrates a wonderful sensitivity, beautifully capturing the romance,  history, and solemnity of his subjects' work. Though a medium may drift from the public consciousness, this film reminds us of the creative passion that defines all artists, regardless their canvas. Sometimes, we only need look up to find the sublime. 

I first heard of Scraper Bikes watching this video on youtube. Frankly, that youtube clip could stand on it's own as the greatest piece of modern music since Outkast's B.O.B. The Scraper Bike movement itself, however, is similarly good shit. I'd love to see this go kickstarter, and judging by the comments on vimeo, a ton of people would be willing to donate. Seeing grassroots community building projects driven by a few spirited individuals warms the heart. Particularly when the project is as bad ass as this. Can we all cruise on Scaper Bikes during 10X? Please?
